About the role
You'll lead the design of cultural and residential projects from concept through to completion, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our in-house engineers from the very first sketch. This is a hands-on studio role for an architect who wants to own the whole arc of a building — not just a stage of it.
What you'll do
- Lead design across RIBA stages 1–6 on two to three concurrent projects.
- Develop concepts alongside structural and MEP engineers in a shared model.
- Run client and stakeholder presentations with confidence and clarity.
- Mentor Part I and Part II architectural assistants in the studio.
- Protect design intent on site, from tender through to handover.
What you'll bring
- ARB / RIBA registration and 6+ years of post-qualification experience.
- A portfolio that shows built work, not just competition boards.
- Fluency in Revit and a genuine comfort working in a live BIM model.
- A collaborative instinct — you'd rather solve it with the engineer than around them.
- Care for detail, carbon and the people who'll use the building.
